(Sterlington, Louisiana)with a $2,000-to-win, COMP Cams Super Dirt Series event at the 1/4 mile oval. Twenty-seven cars registered for action, and in heat race action Dewaine looked to be on his way to a third place finish before contact from Billy Moyer Jr. on the white flag lap caused him to spin and finish at the back of his heat.
